In September, we were very proud to announce our partnership as the new official timekeeping partner of Bristol Flyers Basketball on a two year deal for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. As part of the partnership, the Watches of Bath logo will be visible on the front of the warm-up jerseys and next to the match clock. A bucket scored after the time buzzer has sounded, will also be called the Watches of Bath Buzzer Beater.

Basketball is one of the fastest growing sports in terms of television audience but also participation in the sport with many schools now offering basketball as an option to students. It was the evident growth of participation and interest in basketball that has captured our imagination and driven the desire to be involved with the Flyers.  

The Bristol Flyers Basketball team play in the British Basketball League (BBL) and last season finished joint second on points in the league but officially finished third due to points difference. The teams home venue is SGS College Arena and has been their home since the inception of the club in 2005. The arena has a capacity of around 1,000 and having now been to watch a fixture for ourselves, the atmosphere is something unique.
